5 OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The invention, as expressed in the statement of the present specification, refers to a quick coupling assembly for light bulbs that provides, to the function to which it is intended, advantages and characteristics, which will be described in detail below, which assume a remarkable
10 improvement of the current state of the art.
More specifically, the object of the invention is focused on an innovative type of lampholder or lampholder adapter that, intended for incorporation in any type of conventional luminaire, instead of coupling to the bulb by traditional threading,
15 presents a structural configuration specially designed to be a quick coupling, by simple fixing by pressure adjustment of the bulb in the inner socket of the lampholder or adapter, for which the bulb socket also presents an innovative complementary configuration without thread .
20 FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION
The field of application of the present invention is part of the industry sector dedicated to the manufacture of electrical appliances and devices, focusing mainly on the field of light bulbs and lampholders.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Currently, with the exception of special bulbs, for example halogen bulbs, which are fixed to the luminaire directly under pressure and by means of the connection terminals, most of the 30 conventional bulbs are fixed to the lamps through lampholders in which they fit by threading that usually has two standard sizes: normal thread and mignon thread.
Well, the objective of the present invention is to develop a new type of lampholder with quick coupling of the bulbs, so that it is not necessary to screw the socket of the
35 bulb inside the socket of the lamp holder, avoiding the tedious thread work

as well as possible risks of sunburn or damage due to the prolongation of said operation, and this simply consists of a pressure clipping of the bulb socket inside the socket of the lamp holder.
5 As a reference to the current state of the art, it should be noted that some systems are knownfor quick coupling of the bulb in the lamp holder, for example the one disclosed by the patentUS6380683B1, or the one described in Utility Model ES1076546U, in both cases basedin the incorporation of magnets, which, although it represents an alternative to systemstraditional thread, continues to cause inconvenience, especially for the
10 increased cost of the product in its manufacture and the lack of security in the subject.
It can be said, therefore, that, at least by the applicant, the existence of any other quick coupling assembly for light bulbs or any other invention of similar application that has technical, structural and structural characteristics is unknown.
15 constitutive of the same or similar to those specifically presented here, as claimed.
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
Thus, the quick coupler assembly for light bulbs that the invention proposes is configured as a remarkable novelty within its field of application, since according to its implementation and in a restrictive manner the aforementioned objectives are achieved, the characterizing details being they make it possible and that they distinguish it conveniently included in the final claims that accompany the present
25 description.
Specifically, what the invention proposes, as noted above, is an improved lampholder and bulb assembly that, applicable for incorporation into any type of conventional luminaire, replaces the traditional coupling by tapping with
30 a quick coupling by simple fixing by pressure adjustment of the bulb in the inner socket of the lamp holder.
For this, the lampholder has a socket, which we will call principal to facilitate its distinction with respect to the bulb socket that we will call secondary, in
35 which main bushing are provided with balls that, linked to flexible plates,

fit by pressing a groove provided in the aforementioned secondary bulb socket, which is arranged in coincidence with said balls when the bulb is inserted through its socket in the lamp holder, thanks to which it is fixed to it by simple pressure and, for take it out, just pull it out.
More specifically, the cylindrical main bushing that has several lateral holes, at least two, and several flexible plates with spoon-shaped ends, which, at their opposite end are welded, at a distance equidistant from each other, around the cylinder which constitutes the bushing, all being oriented longitudinally and positioned at the same height.
Said plates, in the concave part of the spoon-shaped end, house a metal ball that is imprisoned between said end and one of the aforementioned side holes, for which each plate is incorporated in coincidence with each said side holes.
In addition, said lateral holes have a specific diameter, several decimals smaller than the diameter of the ball that houses the concavity of the corresponding plate, so that it remains a prisoner between said concavity and the lateral hole of the lampholder socket, but partially protruding from the same towards the inside of the socket, so that, when inserting the bulb socket, all the ball portions of each plate that protrude internally to the walls of the socket fit into the slot provided for this purpose in the bulb socket.
For its part, the secondary socket of the bulb is also a cylindrical socket, smooth and without threads or splines, of suitable dimensions to fit tightly inside the socket of the lampholder with a minimum clearance, presenting, only, the aforementioned slit that circle, for example in its middle zone.
Said slit, upon inserting this bulb socket in the main socket of the lampholder, is arranged in coincidence with the position of the described balls that protrude internally in the socket of the lampholder, which, at the time of insertion, slightly retract , thanks to the flexibility of the plates in which they are held, and that, when reaching the point of the slit, pushed by the plates fit in the same locking the cap and, consequently, keeping the bulb held.

Alternatively, the quick coupler assembly for bulbs includes an adapter, which, provided with an external thread for fixing to a conventional lampholder, and which, internally incorporates the described main socket with balls that are fixed by pressure on
5 the slit of the secondary bulb socket.
In any case, preferably, the housing of the lampholder in which the main socket is fixed can have an extension that arises, as a wrapping bell, from the base thereof, until it reaches the end of the opening through which the lamp is inserted.
10 bulb or even beyond it, serving as a beautifying element and, at the same time, as a protective element of its mobile elements, that is, the plates with the balls, preventing them from being damaged by blows or something similar.
On the other hand, both the main bushing and the external housing and the adapter may be of any material suitable for the intended use, metal, plastic, ceramics, etc.
With all this, the main advantage of the quick coupling described, in addition to the ease and obvious speed of placement and removal of the bulbs is that, in addition, avoid breakage of the bulb, especially due to the fact that, when they have been screwed for a long time, with
20 the deterioration of the materials, the threads of the bulb and lampholder or adapter are welded together, making it necessary to apply a lot of force for unscrewing, which often breaks the bulb when trying to remove it, with the consequent risk of hurting yourself with it if you don't be very careful.
25 The described quick coupling assembly for light bulbs thus represents an innovation of structural and constitutive characteristics unknown until now, reasons that, together with its practical utility, provide it with sufficient grounds to obtain the privilege of exclusivity that is requested.
30 DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
